Have you heard the idiomatic expression, “Make hay while the sun shines?” For those who do not know what that means, it simply means that you should do what needs to be done when there is still time for it.
Many candidates are just too eager to know when the post-UTME screening exercise for their choice institution will be announced; but wait a minute, let me ask, “How prepared are you for the post-UTME screening exercise?”
One major cause of failure among students is procrastination; waiting till the last minute to do what they need to do now. If you are waiting to start preparing for your post-UTME only after your choice institution has announced the date, you are only plotting your failure.
Let me take a little time to educate you on how this whole thing works. The moment most institutions announce the Post-UTME sales of form and screening date, you have only about a week or there about to purchase and submit the form. The funny thing is that once they start announcing, it's possible they will be doing it at the same time. You may have up to 20 schools having post-UTME registration and exam dates at the same time.
The next thing that comes up is the screening exercise itself. The import of this is that the whole thing will be happening so fast that if you are not already prepared you will find yourself jumbling things up or getting yourself jumbled.
And if you are wondering what kind of preparation we are talking about here, let me give you a break down;
1.Get your relevant documents ready: FUTO will require you to provide JAMB Original Result slip with your passport photograph on it. during the screening examination. If you do not have this document, do well to get it now
2. Practice Post-UTME past questions: In case you do not know yet, 90% of post-UTME screening questions are repeated. The implication of that is that practicing post-UTME past questions is a sure way to success in your screening examination.
The good news is that we have a one week Tutorials coming up before the screening exam day, we shall cover all 2006-2014 past question with the help of some lectural in futo campus. The registration fee is N5000. Call 08100003084 to register now.
